《酒店英语》是为高等职业院校酒店管理专业学生及未来要从事酒店业的人士开设的一门专业英语课程。本课程围绕酒店服务工作，教授每一工作流程所需要的专业英语词汇和常用口语，重点训练和提高学生的英语表达技能，尤其是听说技能的训练和提高，使学生能在从事一线部门的酒店服务工作中能够用英语为境外游客提供服务与交流。具体教学内容包括：前台、客房、餐饮、康乐、商务中心、收银、室内外指路、旅游推荐、求职与面试、问题与投诉处理、市场与营销。

旨在通过本课程的学习，使学生具有酒店服务工作的基本技能、较突出的语言表达能力和交际能力，具有从事涉外酒店接待的实践能力，具有良好的职业道德素养、服务意识，具有职业生涯发展基础、具备可持续发展能力，为进一步从事涉外酒店实践工作奠定良好的基础，成为高端技能型酒店从业人才。
