本课程向观众介绍北宋著名学者沈括,和他具有世界影响的著作《梦溪笔谈》。


在国际上,研究《梦溪笔谈》及其作者沈括被称为“梦学”,它横跨社会科学和自然科学诸多学科领域,是一门综合性的学科。本课程探索采用慕课的方式,通过丰富的案例、通俗的形式和生动的语言,向观众展示近年来“梦学”研究所取得的一些重要的,特别是自然科学方面的成果。同时,着眼于沈括的人生经历和北宋的社会现实,以及古代中国的学术传统,探讨“创新型”人才的成长规律,专制主义时代学者的生存状态,古代中国科技发展的成就与不足等问题。旨在通过主讲人的讲授,在介绍学科、传授知识的同时,提高观众的科学和人文素养。
